These scientists warn that chemicals called secondary amines, which are often found in all permanent hair dyes or are formed in them, can penetrate the human skin and stay on the hair for several weeks, months or even years after the dye is applied. So, the scientists found that these secondary amines can react with cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes, and form highly poisonous chemicals called – N-nitrosamines.

The Leeds researchers said that they can still be generated with a simple chemical reaction. We can also mention that hair dye has previously related to a range of cancer, including tumors of the breast, brain, bladder and even leukemia. Many different studies have confirmed that these compounds also increase the number of people allergic to their contents, sometimes even with fatal results.

How to use coffee to dye your hair
