CELINE DION’S $1.2M RESIDENCE: COPING WITH ILLNESS WHILE HER THREE SONS OFFER SUPPORT

Celine Dion, celebrated for her illustrious music career, has taken a step back from the limelight due to her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome. She now spends the majority of her time in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Here’s a glimpse into her life and her residence:

After unveiling her diagnosis, Celine Dion chose to retreat from the public eye. Providing updates on the singer’s life, especially regarding her condition, has been her sister Claudette Dion’s responsibility. Celine hails from a family of 13 siblings, and Claudette keeps fans informed about her health.

Claudette has described Celine as a resilient woman, bravely facing an unfamiliar medical condition that has limited available information, even within the Dion family. She has also shed light on the pain Celine endures due to the condition’s symptoms.

These symptoms encompass uncontrollable muscle spasms affecting various muscle groups, reminiscent of nighttime leg cramps but more widespread.

Celine publicly disclosed her diagnosis in December 2022, revealing that the condition had also impacted her vocal cords and her ability to sing. This unfortunate development led to the postponement of her Courage world tour. She has been diligently collaborating with medical experts and sports medicine therapists to regain her strength.

Currently, Celine resides at home with her three sons: René-Charles, Eddy, and Nelson, all fathered by her late husband, René Angélil, who passed away in January 2016.

In 2008, the couple acquired a five-acre parcel of land and constructed a lavish 13-bedroom, 14-bathroom mansion complete with various water features, including pools, slides, and even a lazy river. However, Celine decided to sell the property in 2005 to facilitate her move to Las Vegas for her residency, where she believed her family could be together more conveniently.

Following her husband’s passing, she eventually sold her dream home for $38.5 million in 2017. In April 2023, she made a $30 million profit from the sale of a property in Summerlin, Las Vegas.

Celine currently resides in a 1.5-acre home in Henderson, Nevada, which she purchased for $1.2 million in 2003. This property boasts four bedrooms, six bathrooms, three fireplaces, and a detached 2,000-square-foot guest house.

The estate also includes a basketball court and an impressive pool, contributing to its estimated value of $4.5 million. Additionally, Celine owns a home in her native province of Québec, Canada.

Her Las Vegas residency, which commenced at Caesar’s Palace, has been a monumental success, earning her an estimated $2 million per month. Celine Dion, adored by millions worldwide, remains an iconic figure in the music industry.
