Teacher Suspects Student of Cheating, but One Hilarious Answer Gives Him Away

Mr. Johnson had a few questions for Johnny after reviewing his history test. Something about the boy’s answers seemed a little too familiar, and the teacher wanted an explanation.

The first question asked students to name the first president of the United States. Mary, who sat beside Johnny during the exam, had nswered George Washington. Johnny had written exactly the same thing.

When questioned, Johnny insisted it was simply common knowledge.

Mr. Johnson moved on to the next question: Who was president when slavery was abolished in America?

Once again, Mary had written Abraham Lincoln, and Johnny’s answer was identical.

Johnny confidently explained that he had studied the night before and knew his history.

But the teacher wasn’t finished.

The final question asked which president was in office when the Louisiana Purchase happened.

Mary had written, “I don’t know.”

Johnny’s answer?

“Me neither.”

Mr. Johnson didn’t need to ask any more questions. That final response had said more than enough!

Sometimes, one little answer can reveal an awful lot. And Johnny certainly gave his teacher a moment he wouldn’t forget!
