Melania Trump allegedly had a harsh nickname for Ivanka amid reported feud

Rumors of tension between Melania Trump and her stepdaughter, Ivanka, have been swirling for years. While the two have always appeared cordial in public, insiders claim their behind-the-scenes relationship is far more complicated.

For those unfamiliar with their dynamic, Melania—a Slovenian-born model—married billionaire and TV personality Donald Trump in 2005. At the time, she was 34, while Trump was 58. Interestingly, Ivanka, the eldest daughter from Trump’s previous marriage, is just 11 years younger than Melania. Now, Melania is 54, and Ivanka is 43.

One particularly telling revelation from the past suggests that Ivanka once pushed for Melania’s title to be changed from Office of the First Lady to Office of the First Family—a move some viewed as an attempt to diminish Melania’s role.

In response, Melania allegedly coined a not-so-flattering nickname for Ivanka, referring to her as “The Princess” among close confidantes.

Addressing her role as a stepmother in her memoir, Melania emphasized her approach to family dynamics, stating, “My role is not to replace their mothers but to nurture a supportive and amicable connection.”

Despite past tensions, Melania remains steadfast in her priorities, once stating: “I will be in the White House. And, you know, whenever I need to be in New York, I will be there. When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach.”

Whether the rumors of their icy relationship hold true or not, one thing is certain—this stepmother-stepdaughter duo keeps people talking.
