So, here comes the million dollar question – what ants and insects don’t like? Our dear friends from the balcony are always on the move, and their adaptation capabilities are getting higher and they are really becoming a huge problem for all of us. You can try and poison them with insecticides, but in that way you will poison your home as well.

There are many different, natural and healthier, ways to remove these boring insects out of your house and get rid of them once and for all. Well, you’ll see that you already have these “bug-cleansing” products in your kitchen, but you probably didn’t know how to use them.

Natural products against insects:

Spices

There are many spices that are extremely useful and beneficial in cleansing the house from these insects, and they will leave nice smelling scent in your house and on your balcony. You need to mix the following ingredients: mint, black pepper, chili, cinnamon, garlic powder. Mix them well and sprinkle with this mixture around the house and in the corners. You can also put some lavender or laurel leaves in cupboards.

Homemade Anti-Insects Spray

Ingredients:

• 50 grams of apple cider vinegar
• 50 grams water
• 50 grams vodka
• 7 drops lemon essential oil

Directions:

Pour the ingredients into a spray bottle and mix well. Spray the low corners of your balconies and the corners that are close to the door and the windows.

Lemon Anti-Insects Spray

We will also show you how to make a spray from lemon or orange peels. Well, these peels usually end up in the garbage can, but don’t throw them away yet, because we will show you how to use them and make a homemade anti-insect spray. Put some lemon/orange peels in a bowl, and pour equal quantities of apple cider vinegar and water and boil them for 5 minutes. Then, leave them to cool off. When the mixture is cooled, strain it and pour it in the spray bottle. Spray in the corners of the balcony and in the house.
