To make Aloe juice at home, cut the sides of some leaves.
Wash them and remove the yellow part right under the skin, which can irritate your stomach.
Put the gel in a blender, following the proportions of 100g (1/2 cup) of pulp to 1 liter of water (4 cups) and mix.
If you wish, add 1 tablespoon of honey or a citrus fruit, like lemon or orange, to better the taste.
Keep in mind that you must consume only 20ml of this juice, 2 or 3 times per day.
Because of aloin, the excessive consumption of Aloe vera can cause nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
