Kid Rock and Eminem Reunite for “7 Sins” — A Friendship That Outlasted Their Differences

A surprising musical reunion is making headlines as Kid Rock and Eminem prepare to team up once again.

Kid Rock recently revealed the track list for his upcoming faith-focused album, Halfway 2 Jesus, and one name immediately caught fans’ attention: Eminem. The Detroit rap legend is featured on a song titled “7 Sins.” Eminem’s representatives confirmed that the collaboration is legitimate after some fans initially questioned whether the track was real.

The collaboration carries some history.

Eminem and Kid Rock first worked together back in 1998, when Eminem appeared on Kid Rock’s breakthrough album Devil Without a Cause. Years later, Kid Rock returned the favor with an appearance in Eminem’s 2013 music video for “Berzerk.”

But this time, the story is about more than music.

In the foreword to Halfway 2 Jesus, Kid Rock wrote about his longtime friendship with Eminem and acknowledged that the two don’t always agree politically or on other issues. Despite those differences, he says they have remained friends. He hopes their collaboration can serve as an example for people who have lost friendships or stopped speaking with family because they see the world differently.

That message gives “7 Sins” an interesting meaning before we’ve even heard the complete song.

The new album is scheduled for release on October 17, 2026, and “7 Sins” is expected to arrive with it.

“7 Sins” does not appear to have an official music video yet, because the song has not been released as of October 6. The album is currently scheduled for October 17.

Kid Rock has, however, released the official video for his new single “James 1:17 (Jesus Is King)” from the same album:

When “7 Sins” is officially released, the video/link can be added to this story.
