‘I Dream of Jeannie’ star, Barbara Eden, celebrates 89th birthday – Happy birthday!

Barbara Eden recently celebrated her 89th birthday with a photo on Instagram. She is as dazzling as ever and appears to be ageless. In this picture, she seems half her age. Her fans couldn’t believe how beautiful she was and how she didn’t seem to age at all.

Eden talks about how she landed her most famous TV role

It’s unclear how Eden spent her 89th birthday, but we believe she had a good time despite the ongoing epidemic. She last published a snapshot on July 4th, telling everyone how she was spending the holiday. She really talked up about how she landed her most famous TV role, Jeannie, over a gaggle of tall brunettes last year for her 88th birthday.

“They were testing all the gorgeous brunettes in town,” she says of the 1965 casting call. “I mean, they were all fitness girls! Six-foot tall! Dark hair! Great bodies! And I thought, ‘Well that leaves me — the short blonde — out.” At age 34, she secured the role of Jeannie and made history with this timeless classic.
